Hotel Biri <\/strong>has joined LifeGate’s <\/strong> Stay plasticLess<\/strong> and Stay for the Planet <\/strong>projects.<\/p>

Stay for the Planet<\/strong> is a data hub that supports hospitality facilities in monitoring environmental performance and managing sustainability pathways through the structured collection of quantitative and qualitative data in the following areas: Energy, Water, Waste, Procurement, Behaviours, and People.<\/p>

Thanks to the virtuous actions<\/strong> implemented in regards to energy consumption and commitment toward sustainability<\/strong>, we have set the goal of reducing our carbon footprint in order to offer our Guests an environmentally friendly stay<\/strong>.
All our staff was made aware of environmental issue<\/strong>: through the Green Path<\/strong>, all hotel staff have been given specific training applicable not only in the hotel<\/strong>, but also in everyday life on issues concerning plastic<\/strong>, water<\/strong>, separate collection<\/strong>, sustainable mobility<\/strong> and food waste<\/strong>.<\/p>

Energy saving and greenhouse gas<\/strong> reducing by purchasing 100% energy<\/strong> from renewable sources<\/strong>, 90% installation of led bulbs<\/strong>, key card activated rooms and climate control system, charing station for electric vehicles<\/strong>, parking for bicycles <\/strong>and incrementing ride sharing.<\/p>

Our Guests have the choice of not utilizing our daily cleaning service earing 500<\/strong> BWR points<\/strong><\/a>, with an option to reuse towels and linens. Furthermore , in order to reduce water consumption, double flush toilets and limited flow taps are installed in every room. <\/p>

For the correct disposal and recycling of waste, there are differentiated collection containers<\/strong>.<\/p>

To support the geographical area and the local community<\/strong>, the supply of the materials <\/strong>the hotel restaurant utilizes, especially meat, fish, vegetables and wines are produced and distributed within a maximum radius of 40 km<\/p>
